Silchar : The Department of Business Administration of Assam University started Integrated BBA-MBA Induction Program from 18th August 2025. The Coordinators of the BBA MBA ; Dr Juthika Konwar and Dr Amit Kumar Das has prepared the program schedule as per AICTE. The program will continue upto 29th August 2025. The entire program consisting of Field Visit, Indian Knowledge System, Value added course, Yoga, Stress Management, etc. The resource persons are from Industry – Academics etc.

The 1st day of the program started with the introductory speech by Program Coordinator Dr Juthika Konwar and Dr Amit Kumar Das The speech of Prof. Debomalya Ghosh, Head, Business Administration welcomed the students. The speech by Prof Amrit Lal Ghosh, Dr Joyeeta Deb, Dr Habib Laskar, Dr Deepjyoti Choudhury, Dr Nilanjana Chakraborty, Dr Kalyan Das highlighted the importance of BBA course, discipline etc. Prof. H Ramananda Singh, Dean School of Management Studies mentioned about the rules, guidelines and course structure of integrated BBA MBA.
The Chief Guest for the Inaugural event was Prof Rajive Mohan Pant, Vice Chancellor. In his speech he welcomed all students and the importance of Management education. The students also introduced themselves as they completed 12th from Science, Humanities and Commerce. The inaugural session was ended with a vote of thanks from Tania Chakraborty and the program was anchored by Poonam Das.
