BUXAR, April 11 : In a sensational development that has sent national security agencies into a high-alert mode, the Bihar Police have arrested three individuals from Buxar district for an alleged conspiracy to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The main accused, identified as Amal Kumar Tiwari, along with two others, was apprehended during a high-stakes midnight raid.
The "22-Day" Deadline and Global Connections
The investigation took a dramatic turn when digital evidence suggested a potential international conspiracy. According to police sources, the accused were reportedly in contact with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) seeking massive funding for their mission.
Most alarming to investigators is the discovery of a 22-day deadline set by the conspirators to execute the attack. It is further alleged that the group was actively attempting to breach and extract confidential data from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Forensic Investigation and Special Probe
Acting on a tip-off, a special team raided Asha Parari village under the Simri police station. Authorities seized several laptops, which have been sent for urgent forensic analysis to decode encrypted messages and financial trails.
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to probe:
The extent of foreign intelligence involvement. The source of funding and communication channels used. Any local sleeper cells assisting the trio.
Family Claims Innocence
Despite the gravity of the charges, the family of Amal Kumar Tiwari has expressed shock, claiming his total innocence. His mother alleged that police in plain clothes detained him without explanation late at night. The suspects are currently being interrogated at a high-security undisclosed location.
