No Fuel Crisis in Assam and Manipur, Confirms IOCL Amid Shortage Rumors

IOCL officials assuring fuel and LPG supply in Assam and Manipur

Guwahti : Amidst mounting global concerns over energy security, the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) on Friday issued a strong assurance to the people of Assam and Manipur, confirming that there is no shortage of LPG, petrol, or diesel in these states.

Steady Fuel Supply Maintained

The oil giant's clarification comes at a crucial time when international crude oil volatility has sparked fears of supply chain disruptions. Addressing these concerns, senior officials from IOCL’s North East division stated that all bottling plants and fuel depots are operating at full capacity to meet regional demands.

"Our inventory is robust, and we have sufficient stocks to ensure an uninterrupted supply across the region," a senior official remarked.

Official Appeal: Avoid Panic Buying

The statement follows recent social media rumors that triggered anxiety among consumers, leading to unusual crowds at fuel stations. IOCL has urged the public to refrain from panic buying or hoarding essential fuels.

"We request citizens not to fall prey to baseless rumors. There is absolutely no need for alarm as the distribution process is seamless," the corporation emphasized. By maintaining a steady flow of essential energy resources, the authorities aim to prevent any artificial scarcity that often arises from misinformation.
