Nabinchandra College Empowers Students with Civil Service Orientation

Nabinchandra College Civil Service Orientation Program Badarpur

Badarpur : In a significant move to foster administrative excellence, Nabinchandra College, Badarpur, recently hosted an insightful orientation program on Civil Service examination preparation. Organized by the Career Counseling & Placement Cell in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), the event aimed to bridge the gap between academic potential and professional success in the prestigious bureaucracy.

"Our students possess immense talent; however, a lack of awareness often keeps them away from administrative careers. It is now our collective responsibility as educators to ignite that ambition," stated Dr. Partha Sarathi Das, Principal of the college.

Inspiring a New Generation of Civil Servants

The session commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Sarwar Alam Khan, Associate Professor of Economics. Drawing a powerful parallel with states like Bihar, he emphasized how the youth there overcome immense challenges through rigorous competitive exam preparation. He urged the local students to emulate such determination to secure their future in governance.

Vice-Principal Debjyoti Dasgupta and Commerce Coordinator Joynal Abedin Tapadar also addressed the gathering. They collectively stressed that the talented youth of this region should actively choose administrative services as a career path to contribute significantly to the nation's overall development.

Expert Guidance from SPM IAS Academy, Guwahati

The highlight of the orientation was the participation of Sanjeev Burman, Senior Manager, and Anupam Das, Senior Faculty from the renowned SPM IAS Academy, Guwahati. They provided a comprehensive roadmap for cracking the IAS and APSC examinations, sharing practical strategies for time management and syllabus coverage.

The experts successfully motivated the attendees by demystifying the complexities of the examination process. The formal inauguration saw the presence of distinguished faculty members including Dr. Rupdatta Roy, Dr. Maunita Nath, Dr. Gautam Deb, Papri Das, and Saidru Alam, reflecting the institution's holistic support for student welfare.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sarwar Alam Khan, leaving the students inspired to embark on their journey toward becoming the future bureaucrats of India.
