SILCHAR, APRIL 18: In a formal notification issued by the District Election Department, Silchar, all commercial and private vehicle owners hired for the Assam Assembly Election 2026 are requested to submit their rental bills immediately.
Submission at Transport Cell
Owners and associations must submit two copies of their vehicle rental bills at the Transport Cell, located in the Silchar Dak Bungalow. "Strict adherence to the deadline is mandatory to ensure smooth processing," the official release stated.
The final date for submission is April 20, 2026. Late submissions may face delays in claim settlement. This directive was officially confirmed by the Regional Office of Information and Public Relations (IPR), Barak Valley, ensuring a transparent reimbursement process for all stakeholders involved in election duties.
