AGARTALA : Creating a major stir in the regional political circles, former Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Tuesday visited the residence of senior CPIM leader Tapan Das in Jirania subdivision. The visit follows a targeted attack and extensive vandalism at the leader's house by a group of miscreants recently.

A group of miscreants allegedly breached the main gates and caused severe damage to the property, leading to localized tension.
