According to sources, Raju Paul, a resident of Joypur, had admitted his pregnant wife to the hospital early Saturday morning following doctors' advice. The family's world came crashing down when hospital authorities declared the baby dead immediately after delivery. Just two days prior, routine health check-ups had confirmed that both the mother and the unborn child were in perfectly healthy condition.
Grief-stricken and emotional, Raju Paul blamed the hospital's administration for the ultimate catastrophe. My wife was completely healthy, but we could not get the doctor when we needed him the most. The Community Health Officer (CHO) reportedly left the premises in an auto-rickshaw, leaving us helpless,
